About the Owner:

Skyler Greyson has lived in Orange County for his entire life and has had over a decade’s worth of experience in the Specialty Coffee Industry. His passion for great tasting coffee all started at the age of 18 when he started working at a local coffee shop in his home town, and after learning about and tasting great coffee he started his search for creating the perfect cup. He has competed in the SCA's Brewer's Cup competition in 2013 and in 2018 and he continues to occasionally compete in local Latte Art competitions. Throughout his time in the Specialty Coffee Industry he helped open and form some of the most well known specialty coffee shops in Orange County which led him to wanting more for his community. He found that the only way that he could create more was through a company of his own, which led him to start Rugged Coffee. At Rugged Coffee he is able to create amazing coffee while not being stuck in one spot or with one company’s coffee. He has created lasting relationships with some of the top roasters in Orange County and now has the ability to serve a wide range of different coffee through Rugged Coffee while maintaining his passion for fostering community by creating unity in each cup.
